clearly, Elias’ birthday breakfast did NOT make the round up (even though it WAS tasty 🙂 )
It’s been awhile since I’ve done a recipe roundup so let’s go for it. In case you haven’t been around before (or have forgotten since its’ been awhile 😉 ) recipe roundups are just a compilation of all the best recipes I have made in the past month…or three. Whoops!

This is a pretty common Friday night at our house: cooking with my brother in our messy kitchen with my son strapped to me. Nothing could make me happier. 😀
It’s been a loooooong time since I’ve done a recipe roundup – Thanksgiving was the last one, I believe. Having a baby kicked my mom gear into overdrive (yes, having three younger siblings I already had a mom gear in place) and I can not stay out of the kitchen. Two three of my favorite things to do are: cook, bake and eat. Sounds to me like a match made in the kitchen. Cheeseball status: elevated.
Everyone always asks for my recipes, quickly followed by “where do you find your recipes”. To address this, every month I’ll be doing a roundup of my favorite dishes I prepared the previous month. Sweets, savouries, beverages – anything goes. Join me on my culinary adventures and perhaps you’ll pick up a new recipe on your way. (And now I sound like I’m in my own show on Food Network.) 😀
