my spring wardrobe must haves

It’s beginning to look a lot like…SPRING?!

Yes, folks, spring is coming in just three short weeks. As much as I LOVE fall and winter, I’ve started seeing two other someones. 😉 The older I get, the more I’ve started to see and enjoy the beauty in things I once didn’t. So mature, I know.

Living in Virginia, our seasons are pretty mild and we get to enjoy the best of each every year. I’ve definitely grown quite fond of the differences in the seasons and cannot wait to update my wardrobe for spring this year.

I don’t typically follow trends in fashion – I basically wear what I want when I want because I want – but I’ve been hearing that leopard is in, or animal prints, or whatever. Like I said: I don’t follow trends. But if you do, you’ll be thrilled to know there’s one on my list for spring. 😆

I do A LOT of my wardrobe shopping on Amazon – there’s great variety, amazing steals, Prime delivery in two days, free returns and best of all, I can shop at home. In my pajamas. With unwashed hair. While my toddler throws his breakfast on the floor.

What’s better than shopping Amazon? The fact that every item on this list is under $65. Talk about a steal!

I LOVE the classic feel of this skirt.

This type of pant is my jam right now – I’m pretty sure everyone who’s not into fashion hates them, but when has that ever stopped me before? This particular pair comes in a LOAD of colors and patterns, so be sure to check them out.

Can we say “Easter Sunday brunch”? And can we just talk about the fact they just released it in black? Excuse me while I add that to my wish list.

I actually bought this to wear for Valentine’s date night; I paired it with a pair of skinny jeans and black pumps and rounded out the look with a pair of rose gold heart studs and black and white striped clutch (similar here). Super cute. Super comfy. Super affordable. Super appropriate for spring.

Mary had a little…sweater. Creepy? Probably.

Rompers and jumpsuits have also been on my list more and more lately. Whoever made them popular and stylish was definitely a toddler mom. Don’t like black? It comes in pink and blue – spring or baby shower friendly. 🙂

I LOVE gingham in the spring…and the summer…and isn’t buffalo plaid technically really big gingham? So…in the fall…and the winter. This dress has the perfect amount of spunk to be feminine and dainty but still say “I’m not your basic b****”.

I may or may not wear these in public. Haha. And SO worth the small price.

Here it is! You were waiting for it, weren’t you? I love this piece because it’s not in your face leopard. And it comes in black and white. I’m shameless, I know.

Been shopping for spring yet? I’d love to know what’s on your must have list!
