pocket tank / shorts in roadside blues / gladiators / soulfeel bracelet / coffee charm / hamsa charm / flower charm
Wow. Oh, wow.
It has been over a month since my last post. Full disclosure: I haven’t been all that inspired as far as outfits go. I’ve been kind of slumpy the past week and I think it’s a combination of the changing seasons, trying to get readjusted from our beach trip and trying to squeeze as much as possible into my schedule. I’ve been struggling to find that sweet spot in the balance of every day life and momming is winning.
Elias can’t guarantee he won’t have me wrapped around his little fingers, but I promise I’ll try to pencil in some blog time. 🙂
Last year at the beach, we went out to eat every night. I had time to spend getting ready and lots of cute outfits that I brought with me. This year, not so much. Yes, I brought cute outfits, but the logistics of an added baby just didn’t allow a lot of wiggle room. I don’t care how cute those heels are, when you have a three month old (in a car seat) and diaper bag to lug around in a sort of unfamiliar place that has limited seating and most likely a wait time outside, you choose the sandals. Note to self: invest in more stylish flats. (Oh, and, yes, we DID still go out to eat every night.)
Be on the lookout for a beach trip post coming up! 🙂
