Whew! It has been a long time since I posted anything. We had a lot less down time in Ireland than we expected (if you can even say that about a vacation) and things just got away from me. Between jet lag and getting my house prepped for the busiest season of the year, I have just been lagging behind. Add in the fact that somehow I managed to get sick right after we got back and you’ve got yourself a bum blogger. 🙂
Anyhow, we’re back in the states and I’m ready to get back on track. My favorite time of the year is in full swing and I’m so ready for the holidays and all the fun stuff that goes along with them!
My latest thrift haul includes brands like Ann Taylor, Loft and Forever 21. I also found some cute basic pieces and a vintage skirt that I just love! One of my biggest tips when shopping for clothing at thrift stores is don’t be afraid to buy something with the intention of having it altered. Hemming skirts and other small fixes can easily be done on your home sewing machine but for more advanced alterations your local seamstress can do them for a fee. And how do my clothes get so wrinkly all the time?!
Keep your eyes peeled for an Ireland travel post in the next week or two!
